Obituary of Patricia Emery

Patricia "Patty" Emery passed away peacefully at age 66, on Sunday the 24th of September in her home. Patty was born in Glendale, California to Paul and Nancy Emery (deceased). Patty moved to Idaho in 2004 to Clearwater Care Center. She moved into her own home in 2008 where she lived with friends and was supported by the staff of The Center for Independent Living. Patty was a social woman who enjoyed going out. She loved seeing Christmas lights, going out for dinner or coffee, going to movies, going to the planetarium, and watching people skate at skate land. She also liked going shopping for new clothes, bowling, going for picnics in the summer, and sitting outside on warm days. Patty was comforted by the company of her cat, Snowball. She spent time doing word search puzzles and other games. Patty also enjoyed watching old movies/tv shows, and listening to music especially Elvis. Patty often spoke about when she was younger, reminiscing over photos, and having a book read to her. As a Christian, Patty often spoke about God and the Bible. She enjoyed listening to gospel music. Patty is survived by her sisters Linda Reed, Debbie Eubanks and brother Mike Emery who so often updated Patty about her nieces and nephews sending pictures as they grew up. Patty will be greatly missed as she was dearly loved in this life. In celebration of Patty's life a memorial will be held at Rosenau's Funeral Home at 10 AM on October 12th with a reception to follow.
