To Jay, the Depew girls and their families: Your mom was such a special lady and I am saddened to hear of her passing. I have been in Spokane visiting my mom and fly back to Twin on the 31st. I am so sorry to miss her service! Had I been in TF, I would have been there. I remember when your mom stood up to a vice-principal and defended me to this vice-principal. I couldn't have had a better champion. I remember going to your mom's retirement party when she retired. I remember her sending me this wonderful e-mail poem when my father died in 2002. When I retired in 2002 she sent me a cute purse. She and I were able to get together at a coffee shop in TF and, Jay, I was able to meet you. I ran into your mom after she moved back to TF and I told her "let's get together." Didn't hear from her and now I know why. It makes me extra sad because that phone works both ways. Your mom was one of the sweetest ladies I knew and will not only be missed by family, but by many others. Blessings and prayers for you, Carol Bearup
