Kent Martin Mallory, 63, of Twin Falls passed away on November 13th, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. Kent was born February 21, 1954 in Banning CA, to Stanley and Nancy (Grayce) Mallory. Later in Kent's life his mother divorced and married Charles Luzier who raised him and his sister Shawnna. Kent attended elementary schools in San Bernardino, CA, and graduated from Redland Senior High School in 1972. Kent also graduated with an accounting degree from Crafton Hills College, from Yucaipa, CA. Kent was survived by two daughters, Mallory Rose and Katie Jo. In 2015 Kent married his best friend and the love of his life Elaine Claiborne on September 19, 2015 in Las Vegas, NV and Elaine brought to the marriage her sons Jason and Josh. For the past 11 years Kent was employed with JC Penneys. Through this employment he made many friends within the community. Prior to JC Penneys, he worked with Magic Valley Youth Services where he helped many students excel in their careers. Kent loved the Twin Falls community and was one of the founders of the Valley House Homeless Shelter of Twin Falls and was on the Board of the Directors. He volunteered his time to many organizations such as College of Southern Idaho (CSI), Habitat of Humanity, and numerous Soup Kitchens. He was a member of The Twin Falls Optimist Club and formally the Lions Club. He loved parades and his favorite holiday was St. Patrick (he called Paddy's) Day. Kent was very proud of his Irish heritage. He loved being with family and especially his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. Kent loved to take long drives to admire the beauty of nature around us, playing golf, and going fishing. He enjoyed football and was an avid Miami Dolphin fan! Kent is also survived by his sister Shawnna (Joel) Charron, two stepbrothers, Terry and Patrick Luzier, and one stepsister Kerry (Luzier) Wagner, grandchildren who called him Papa Kent, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
