Obituary of Robin L. Bennett

Robin was born at Magic Valley Memorial hospital in Twin Falls on March 20th, 1975. She experienced disabilities as a result of a premature birth but the fierce will to live that allowed her to survive served her well throughout her life. She loved driving her battery powered cars when she was younger and her power wheelchair when she grew older. Robin had an indomitable spirit and believed all things were possible. She loved camping, sewing, making cinnamon rolls with her beloved great grandmother and making cherry pie with mom. She learned to crochet and made impressive blankets all her life until disease took away the use of her hands. Robin was part of a military family and enjoyed living in Phoenix, Sacramento and Alaska. She was up for any challenge in any environment. As an adult she wanted to independently and was eventually able to do so with supportive living services from MDC Magic Valley. The love and support she received from the wonderful staff at MDC and the friends she made there gave her life meaning. Her parents and brother cannot thank them enough for all they gave her. They are truly extraordinary. Robin was part of a large extended family and has many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. More than anything, Robin loved her great grandparents, Eldon and Evelyn Turner who preceded her in death. She passed away on November 24th, 2017 at St. Luke's in Twin Falls. She is survived by her parents, Rob and Deb Bennett of Twin Falls and her brother Sean, of Seattle. A private family celebration of her life will be held. Robin's determination and strength allowed her to live a life that mattered and enabled her to transcend the pain and disabilities that posed ever present challenges. She will be missed daily and entirely. "People have said they have seen angels, but I have seen you and that is enough". Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
