Many years ago I had in Josh in English class at O'Leary Junior High. I met Mr Barron at a parent teacher conference and counted on him as strong supportive parent. I was shocked when I heard of his passing in 2018. Since I have been out of state for a number of years I lost touch with many friends in Twin Falls. Hopefully Josh and Mrs. Barron will know that Andy was the best Father and husband and remembered by so many in southern Idaho. D Scott Stayner

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Andrew. God comfort us and give us the courage to bear our pain. He does so mainly through his Word, the Bible, and through the gift of prayer. Paul tells us that God lovingly gives us His Word, so that through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope. Additionally, through heartfelt prayers, we can come to experience the peace of God that excels all thought. Roman 15:4; Phil 4:7. Visit JW.org.

I was extremely sorry to hear about Andy's passing. Andy and I were teammates at ISU. We lived in the same dorm for 3 years. Great football player ,Great teammate, most of all a great friend. We shared a lot of common interests, we both wanted to coach football. In a lot of was it was giving back but most of all it prolonged our playing time by playing through the men we coached. Believe it or not it kept us young. Andy will surely be missed.. RIP my friend .

I was saddened to hear the loss of Andrew (Andy) Barron and I offer my sincere condolences to his family. Andy and I were football teammates at Idaho State University for two years and always considered him an outstanding football player and a man of outstanding character. When Andy and I would come in contact with each other, I would call him Mr. B and he would call me Mr. C. We had tremendous respect for each other and I will always remember Andy. Andy would always speak highly of his sister. Again, I submit my sincere condolences to Andy's family.

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. One encouraging thought you might find comforting is found at John 5:28, 29. “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” God gives us this beautiful hope that he will soon resurrect our dead loved ones and we can see them again on a paradise earth. Coach Barron was the best! He loved his wrestlers and I am forever indebted to him for his encouragement and friendship. He expected hard work but his sense of humor and good nature made the hard work seem fun. In my day he wrestled right along with us at the practices, teaching and instructing and encouraging. He allowed the athletes to run certain portions of the practice sessions to help us develop leadership skills. He seemed larger than life to me at the wrestling meets and tournaments and I never wanted to disappoint him. Coach Barron was one of the very best parts of my high school experience. God bless!

I was so saddened to hear of Andy's passing. We shared a lot of wonderful times and had many great experiences together. I was looking forward to the possibility of going for a ride with Andy and other friends some day on four-wheelers and regret not taking that opportunity when it came this past year. I will so miss Andy's wit and friendship at Saturday morning coffee and the occasional trips to the Cantina (not to mention our time on the golf course where I really got to know Andy). All of us who knew Andy benefitted greatly from our experiences with him and are better people for having known him. My thoughts and Kris' are with you at this time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Barron Family during this difficult time. What a loss! Andy was a teacher of mine back in 1981 which I held in high regard. He coached my son and I was able to work with him while I was in Boosters for TFHS. Always so willing to work with students and parents alike; always fair. I also enjoyed running into him occasionally as a colleague in the district. He will be so missed by so many! God bless!!!!

I went to school and played football with Andy. He was a large person and played Varsity when he was quite young. I played in the backfield on Andy's side. The hole was usually open though I ran with my head down and often missed it. Never heard him cuss, say a bad thing about anyone, or be in a situation where he couldn't smile about it. He was a true Gentleman.
His mother was one of my teachers, he had total respect for the teachers. Aforementioned Andy was a big person, I remember the sweat just pouring off him at football practice. Never a word of complaint but I knew he was having a hard time.
He taught all my kids. I thank him and send sincere condolences to his family.
Well done, Andy!

Andy was a vice-principal at Twin Falls High School where I began my career in 1992. I always appreciated the way Andy took the time to meet and greet me, day after day, asking how things were going and if I needed anything. Being a new teacher can be daunting, and Andy was always a source of support, encouragement, and genuine concern for my well being. Whenever I would see Andy around town, he was consistent with his warm smile and hearty greeting. He made people feel special and seen. He will be missed greatly. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Barron was the Vice Principal at Twin Falls High School while I attended there (I was class of 1992.) I was a bit of a mischievous student and just a few days ago I was sharing a memory about an encounter I had with him in High School.
I had gotten in a little mischief (I still can't remember what it was about - but I remember the way he handled it like it was yesterday) and Mr. Barron "invited" me to his office (uh-oh). He looked at me with an oh-so-serious look, leaned forward, looked me right in the eyes and told me, "If I ever hear of you doing that again, your ass is grass and I'm going to be the lawnmower." (he could be pretty intimidating!) He held character for a moment, then a grin began to appear at the corner of his mouth (followed shortly by a hearty laugh.) He then said, "Klaas - come on, don't make me call you back in here, OK?" I smiled, and said, "you got it." He then said, "get out of here- and hurry back to class" with a big grin on his face.
He had the wisdom to know that I would respond well to that and I respected him for "keeping it real." I always gave him a smile and a nod when I saw him in the hall and he always referred to me as "Klaas" when he acknowledged me.
Twin Falls has certainly lost a great one. He will not be forgotten.
