My deepest condolences to the family and friends of John. God comfort us and give us the courage to bear our pain. He does so mainly through his Word, the Bible, and through the gift of prayer. Paul tells us that God lovingly gives us His Word, so that through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope. Additionally, through heartfelt prayers, we can come to experience the peace of God that excels all thought. Roman 15:4; Phil 4:7. Visit JW.org.

Oh how I wish I would have known your son Johnny. By the video itself you can see the kind of true person he was. I imagined meeting him as I view the scenes and I think he would have made me feel welcomed and happy. The kind of person you'd love to be around with. I found myself feeling sad as my eyes welled up with tears. I wish I was there Carleen to comfort you and give you a warm hug. I am so very saddened by the loss of your son Johnny. The words that come to mind are this; "Only the Good Die Young". Something we just can't understand and always ask why? But it's God's will and He must have a beautiful place especially for this amazing young man you know as your loving son.
May God be with you and John in this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Carla

My heart aches for all of you. I didn’t know Johnny but for a few years when I was married to Jayme but the impact him and his family had in my life was huge! He was a wonderful man with a heart of gold, always smiling and laughing. He became the man he was because of his wonderful parents. I have always had a place in my heart for the Greber family. My prayers, thoughts and love to all of you at this time. May you find comfort in god’s arms and know he is with him on a huge ranch in heaven. Love to you all

I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that the Greber family and friends are feeling because of losing John recently in death, way too soon. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) I pray you will find comfort reading the above scriptures in your personal Bible and to know you are in my prayers.

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I hope you may find comfort at Revelation 21:4, “And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We can look forward to the time when God will take away all reasons for distress and he even gives us a hope of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15) If you’d like to learn more about this beautiful hope, feel free to visit JW.org.

I met Johnny at 4-H out in Oakley at the Zollinger Ranch. Since that day he has been a mentor, teacher, a friend, a listening ear and of course the comedian. He changed the way I rode horses, even the way I thought about horses. He would do anything for anyone and supported his friends. His loss will truly be felt.

Johnny helped on numerous occasions at our ranch in Jerome, Idaho. He helped us brand all of our calves year after year, and was always quick with a story of his recent cowboyin' adventures working for the Boies Ranch in Nevada. He was like an uncle to me, and he always made me laugh. He knew a lot about horses and cattle and he taught me quite a few things about both. Rest In Peace, Johnny.
