Dear Family. At this time of sadness, I wish to share some of the beautiful memories that I have of Barbara. She was a very dear friend. Years ago when we had sold our house in Kimberly we needed a place to stay so we bought an older trailer house and Alvin and Barbara offered to let us park it at their house in Jerome. We were there for 2 or 3 months wile waiting for our house in Twin Falls to be finished. They were so kind to us and we became good friends. Barbara was always a better cook than I ever was. I'll always remember her taco suppers. She could also make wonderful pies. After Alvin died, Barbara and I would get together for lunches and discovered that we had very similar tastes. We spent any number of afternoons looking at antique shops. We didn't buy much but were able to reminisce about our growing up years. Being from Filer we knew many of the same people, and shared many of the same experiences. We had plans to celebrate her birthday that Wednesday. I was going to call her on Tuesday to confirm the time and place. I will always consider that Barbara was a very good friend and I will miss her very much. Sincerely yours, Mary Ann Wilson
