My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Herbert. God comfort us and give us the courage to bear our pain. He does so mainly through his Word, the Bible, and through the gift of prayer. Paul tells us that God lovingly gives us His Word, so that through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope. Additionally, through heartfelt prayers, we can come to experience the peace of God that excels all thought. Roman 15:4; Phil 4:7. Visit JW.org.

Aunt Jeanne, Mike, Bill and Susan:
Some of my most cherished childhood memories include our family's annual summer vacations to Idaho to visit with all of you. I loved our trips to the farm for overnight visits. Your family just radiated love and happiness whenever we visited. Uncle Pete was such a kind, loving man, and his gentle ways have touched so many lives.
I'm holding you all close in my heart right now.
Love, Janaye

Jeanne, Michael, Bill & Susan and families,
So sorry to hear of your father's passing. What a good guy he was. I always enjoyed going to their house with Paula when we were growing up. What fun memories!
In recent years, I played piano for JuMP Company and got to know my dear friend Parker Paul. Then I found out that Bill was his dad and Herb and Jeanne were his grandparents. What a small world! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Herb was like a second father to me growing up and as I continued into my young adult years. Never will I forget the times sitting on his porch, sipping sweet tea or the wonderful display on fireworks on the 4th of July. Then there was the winter of 92-93 when we lived in the smaller house next to his. My young sons wanted to go sledding so Herb got on his tractor and proceeded to build a sledding hill for my boys. I don’t remember my sons laughing so much as they did that year going ‘sledding’ on the farm. His caring nature was never so apparent as the time he drove me to Twin after my two year old, David, was knocked unconscious and I was unable to drive him myself. I will always cherish the memories of him and the farm. My thoughts and prayers are with you all

Very sorry for your loss. I hope you can find some comfort from the words at Psalms 147:3 that says; "He is healing the broken hearted ones and is binding up their painful spots." God as the hearer of prayer will comfort you in the days ahead as you remember Mr. Paul. Please take a look at this short video that gives us hope for the future. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/videos/#en/mediaitems/VODMinistryTools/pub-imv_4_VIDEO
