Obituary of Larry Dustin Rodriguez

Please share a memory of Larry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Larry "Dustin" "Doe Boi" Rodriguez went with our Lord Jesus on Monday April 2nd 2018 at his home. He lit up any room he would walk in with his loud laugh, his contagious smile and his outgoing personality. Whether it was his laugh, his whistle or his speakers and stereo system, you knew he was coming before he got there. Dustin was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on October 17th 1978 to Larry Martinez Rodriguez and Kathleen Sue Rodriguez. His hobbies were always music, playing drums and having the loudest speakers and coolest stereo systems. He attended high school at the Magic Valley Alternative High School and after school he married Blanca Melendez. They had two beautiful children Monica and Anthony. He worked as a waiter and welder for years. He resided in Twin Falls until 2006 and moved to Boise idaho. He was active at the Boise Rescue Mission and was baptized. In the same year he got his GED at the Lewis and Clark State college. He shortly after started working at Idaho Pizza. While there he met and made life long friends that were very dear to his heart. He always had a passion for music and proceeded with his passion as a D.J. Over the years he progressed in his music career doing many shows and events as a D.J. He made so many friends and met so many people and left an imprint on every one of them. He was always the life of the party or just at home. His health started to fade after a few strokes and two heart attacks. He was then diagnosed with kidney failure. After a long struggle of years of keeping up on dialysis and going to doctors appointments in Boise, he moved back home to be with his family in Twin Falls. His health improved and he attended Lighthouse Christian Church. He was working his way to get on the kidney transplant list. No matter how he felt that day he always made time for anyone and would always say he is fine because he was so young at heart and wanted to party like a rock star. Dustin will be so deeply missed on this world for now but we will see him again soon. He is survived by his daughter Monica Rodriguez and his son Anthony Rodriguez, his parents Larry and Kathy Rodriguez, his sister Shantel (Randall) Gee, his nephew Kain Sauer and his niece Veronica Sauer, his grandparents Dorene Clark from Boise, Idaho and Elia and Boyd Graham from Bakersfield, California. He has so many close cousins, aunts and uncles that were so close to his heart. He is proceeded in death by his grandpa Larazo Rodriguez, his grandpa Harold Long and his uncle Robert Rodriguez. Thank you for all the love and support for those who loved Dustin. A celebration and memorial of Dustin's life will be held on Saturday April 7th 2018at 2:00 pm at The Lighthouse Church. 960 Eastland Drive, Twin Falls, Idaho
