Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carol Sue Capps was born on April 06, 1947 in Wendell, Idaho. Sue was the third child of Ed and Olive Messenger. Sue grew up in Jerome, Idaho. Her favorite thing to do was to ride her horse named "Buttercup". Sue was very loved by her mother, father, older brother Dennis, who loved to play jokes on her, and older sister Betty. Sue graduated from Jerome, High school in1965. She then attended Juan's Beauty school following high school. She joined her hand in marriage on August 19, 1966 to Tom, her true love of her life. Sue and Tom worked together at the MOD Barber Salon for many years. Sue and Tom celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary on August 19, 2017. Sue and Tom had three children Jeff, Tim, and Andy. Sue also had 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Sue was raised Nazarene, and truly believed in her gospel. Even though Sue had multiple medical problems, you would not know it. Sue was known for having red hair, and a big smile. No one was ever a stranger to her. Sue had multiple loves in her life. Her true love was Tom, her soul mate for life. She was a wonderful mother who loved to cook when all of her children were at home. After the kids left she changed her hobbies to painting, photography, crafts, and most of all her dogs. "I believe she loved them more than her kids". Sue and Tom would always make their annual trip to the Oregon coast, during the month of August. Mom loved going to the coast during that time "it is the warmest time of year." While in Oregon mom enjoyed junking through the old antiques stores. She seemed to always find a "treasure." She liked going to her grandson's events like baseball, and cattle showings. After all of her trials she was a great wife, mom, and a great grandma. And she will be missed by all. Sue is survived by her husband Tom of fifty years, her son Jeff (wife Janet, sons Sydney, and Makay Capps, her son Tim (wife Amanda, sons Kody, and Conner) her son Andy (wife Samantha, son Casey, daughter Halee. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1321 Washington St. N. Viewing for Sue will be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday, April 8 at the funeral home.
