Obituary
Obituary of Max Eugene Osborne
Please share a memory of Max to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Max Eugene Osborne passed away July 6th after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Max was born July 13, 1940 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Raymond and Alberta Allen Osborne. He attended school in Mud Lake, Idaho. Max owned and operated the first Chevron Station in Twin Falls and later worked for the US Government investigating crop damage.
Max married Linda Slater in 1963 to which this union came 4 children. They were later divorced. Max and Linda raised their kids in Kimberly. He was very supportive of all his kids. We could always find him filming sporting events, proms, and family outings. The best was when we would have to mute the sound on the video because he would let a comment slip out. He spent most mornings hanging out at the Kimberly Café with the boys catching up on the daily events over a cup of coffee. Good lifelong friends came from this. Max never missed a good yard sale on Saturday mornings; he loved getting a "great deal".
Max moved to Sacramento to continue his career investigating for the US Government. Max married Roxanna Dent in 2002. Max and Roxy spent many years traveling together and loved spending time in the Big River/Parker Arizona area and cruising around in their dune buggy with dad's favorite dog, Harley.
Survivors include his best friend and wife Roxy, Kevin Osborne, Mike (Pholy) Osborne, Scott Osborne, and Tammi (Matt) Harr, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Kenny and Russ. Max will be dearly missed by all.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, July 13, 2018 at Rosenau Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA.org). Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
