May the "God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) give you comfort from the recent death of your dear loved one. Our loving heavenly Father, whose name is Jehovah, gives us many scriptures to read that give us hope and a promise for the future. One of those scriptures is found at Isaiah 25:8; "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.....". The scripture at Isaiah 26:19 helps us to know that our dear loved ones will be resurrected when it states: "Your dead will live, My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." May these and other scriptures help give comfort.
