I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Danny’s family. Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know my words can’t change anything and can do little to ease the pain you are feeling, so I pray that the God of comfort calm your hearts and help you heal. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17) Lean on Him in the days to follow. One way that God comforts us today is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. I am so sorry to hear about Danny's passing.
In 1990, I went to work for TFPD- part time. My full time job was Hailey. TFPD had no badges or vests at the time and so Danny invited me for a ride in the patrol car and gave me his own badge and vest at his house.
I was a young cop back then. Danny was a class act and he was funny. I always looked forward to working on his shift.
I never forgot that random act of kindness.

My sincerely condolences to the Crafton family. I was fortunate enough to know Danny early in my law enforcement career. I always had respect for the Danny's passion and beliefs in helping others. He never failed to demonstrate his commitment to community through his protect and serve mentality. RIP Danny.
