We are so sorry for your loss. Cole & my Dad, Duane Owen, not only worked together but were good friends. Between the two of them they were pretty mischievous in their patrolling. Cole had a great sense of humor. We thought a lot of him.

Cole and Wilma were the nicest, most giving, and gracious and loving people ive ever known. They were my second parents. I dont ever recall Cole or Wilma getting mad at Jim or I for the giant craters we dug in the yard for our match box cities we built. Harrassing Trena and Debbie was a different story. That did land us in trouble with Cole and Wilma. I couldnt wait for Cole to get home. Cole always let me turn on his lights and siren on his patrol car. They were the greatest people ive ever known. They will always be in my heart and memories. To Jim, Vic, Trena, and little Debbie. I hope all is well for you and you are in my thoughts. Sincerely Ron Ostermiller 208-320-8847

Cole was an epic man like no other. His stories entertaining and the corn he delivered to our front door was delicious every fall. Arguments were strongly opinionated and the love for his wife and children undeniable. A great next door neighbor for 47 years is as hard to find as a rare gem and that is what he was, a rare gem of a man.
After hearing of his loss today and watching every available emergency type show up to assist him last Monday from St. Luke's life-flight helicopter, ambulance, paramedics and deputy sheriffs, I started to remember how he would mow his lawn in his Speedos telling me how he was exciting all the neighborhood ladies. Now, with the eldest neighbor gone as well as his antics, do I have to take on the roll of the senior neighbor and, where will I ever find Speedos to fit?
Cole, you will always be remembered and sorely missed!
To your children, Janet and I give you our deepest sympathy in your time of loss but he is happy again being back with your wonderful mom and his best friend, Wilma. Now they can resume their travels together.
Sincerely,
Craig and Janet Fisher
