What a wonderful and joyful soul. Dan and Wendy have been in our lives for quite some time. Over the last few years, we have grown close to them in so many ways. From walking endless trails with my mom (Shawna) to spending time sharing memories, Dan filled our hearts with continuous laughter and love. His memory will stay with us for eternity. He is not one who you could easily forget... His smile, his laugh, his joy, and his love for the outdoors will forever describe his memory. God is so good to have placed this man in our lives.
As my mom and I have struggled with loss over the years, Dan took our grief and reminded us that we are never without those who go before us. We had taken a picture of the beautiful bridge in Twin Falls, and when the photo was developed, there stood the prism of a light rainbow arching over the river. We decided this couldn't be anything but a message from our loved ones. Dan, with his extraordinarily creative mind, created a homemade frame and placed the picture inside. At the bottom he wrote:
"Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard but always near...still loved, still missed and very dear."
So true, Dan. Thank you for being you.

Dan was such a light every single day at the CSI rec center. He was always the first one to say good morning and was always happy and singing. He worked so hard to be healthy his goal was the falls to falls we cheered him on as he crossed the finish line, then the Rim to Rim. He was such a wonderful man! God Speed Dan.

Dan was the sweetest most happy go lucky guy I have ever met....REALLY! I met Dan at the CSI rec center 5 years ago and I have to say I genuinely looked forward to seeing his smiling face bright and early in the morning there! He was ALWAYS singing and whistling and knew everyone's name. He was a true friend to anyone who ever had the privelage of getting to know him. I am going to miss him so very much! Got get um Dan!!!

So sorry, and shocked, to hear of Danny's passing. Daniel was always Danny to me when we were growing up as next door neighbors in Twin Falls. Danny was my best man when I married my wonderful wife Sheila. So many childhood memories, riding bikes, swimming...just being kids. After Danny moved to Jerome we kind of lost contact until I, myself, moved to Jerome and finished high school there. At JHS Danny was a lowly Junior, and I was a high and mighty senior, so we were rivals at times, but always friends. Danny will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know or work with him. Prayers and condolences to his family from mine.

Have you ever looked forward to seeing someone but not really know them? Our little running group looked forward to seeing Dan, our walking friend in the wee hours of the dark mornings. His kindness, his hearty “good morning girls and pups,” and his boisterous laughter when one of us made a smart-ass comment, was so contagious! I knew Dan “just enough.” Enough to know he will always be Jaime's Santa Claus, Shelley's ray of sunshine, Kimberly's happy dance and my motivator to spread joy. I will always be on the lookout for "jumping jack rabbit" and when I see one, I know it will be Dan reaching out to say hi. I will visualize him taking his earbud out to say, “good morning girl and pup, have a great day today.” I won't forget the walk I took with him around CSI’s campus circle two days before he said goodbye forever. It was “just enough.”
May you find comfort in knowing he touched many of hearts!

We were fortunate to have met Dan this year while walking at CSI. We often would stop and visit with him when we met during our daily constitutional. He was such a sweet and enjoyable man and it was obvious how much he enjoyed his excursions. We were so shocked and deeply saddened to see of his passing. In fact, during Tuesdays rainstorm, we expected to see Dan at the gym. It was only seeing his obituary today that we knew of his passing. Please accept our deepest condolences of his loss. We will miss seeing him at CSI.

My sincere condolences to Dan’s family. I was a JHS classmate of Dan’s, but haven’t seen him in recent years. So sorry to read of his passing! A wonderful and kind classmate, who will be missed by all of us!
