I will never forget the first day I spoke with Shey. He was sitting in the Church Foyer resting because he was very tired following some surgical procedures which were performed a few days earlier. He needed to go and take some pictures of a house listing so they could be posted on the Real Estate Website. I asked if he was doing alright and he said he just needed to rest for a little while and then drive out to Buhl. I asked him if I could drive him and we began our relationship. Once the pictures were taken and we were driving back to the Church, Shey said "Hey, there is a McDonalds. Lets go get a Sundae." We shared stories, faith and our love for God with one another. You touched my life forever Shey Patterson and you will be greatly missed here on earth. But as is often said, our loss is heaven's gain. See you in heaven my friend. Pastor Steve Myers

I don't remember formally "meeting" Shey, I just remember him taking a special interest in greeting me at church. He had a way of making me feel so special and just like I'd known him for years. I remember Shey's big hugs and his excitement about my engagement to my husband. Shey has a very special place in my heart and I am so thankful for his beautiful example of God's love (and God's hugs). Charity & Sammi, you girls are so beautiful and I loved getting to know you over the summer. I hope that your excitement for life and your kind, kind hearts continue to grow as a tribute to Shey. Thank you all for being a ray of sunshine in my life. I'll never forget it.
Shey, you were one of the kindest, dearest men I had ever known. I and my husband didn't find out until recently of his passing. Donna and family, we love you. I know shey is singing his heart out to his Lord Jesus Christ. What a blessing to know Shey and you, Donna. God bless you all with comfort and peace now and always, Andy and Kathi Stein
