Ann and family: When I read John's obituary and saw his time spent with his autobody work it brought back a flood of happy memories. When Bob returned from his mission he bought a 1955 chev (pink and grey!) for $50.00 - tires included. He loved the car but the pink and grey had to go so John painted it for him. John called Bob and told him to bring the car up one weekend and he would paint it for him He chose a 1968 or 1969 Corvette Blue - metalic in color. It was beautiful. Not long after John painted the car is when I came on the scene. That car was our dating car, courtship car, and early marriage car. By adding baby moons and chrome rings it made it perfect. John was one of the sweetest men I have had the pleasure of knowing. Ann and family you were so blessed to have such a wonderful man as part of your family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
