Grandma, No words can describe how grateful I am for everything you have taught me but the 2 most endearing things are teaching me how to fish and to play the most difficult game in the world-Golf. Through the game you loved so much you taught me patience, humility and honesty. "A game you can enjoy your whole life Michael" as you so eloquently put it. I also thank you for discipline. I have to share my favorite memory on this one> The little Cafe in Challis when I was 4 and we were waiting for Grandpa, Dad and Jim to get off the MiddleFork. I was bouncing all over the seats in the booth and got "Michael--SIT DOWN" of course I didn't listen and then got "I'll give you the count of 3" bit. Still didn't listen. You then put me over your lap and give me a quick hide tanning. The rest is priceless!! The waitress came over and says "Grandmothers' don't do that to their Grandchildren"! To which you replied "Well this Grandmother does"!! Thank You- I never got a hide tanning I didn't deserve and appreciate them more than you know. I will cherish all the memories like this one and the Magic Reservoir fishing trips in the little rubber dingy, especially the trip when we got caught in the 4 foot white caps> What a ride!! Give our love to everyone> I know you will> and set us up a Tee Time for when I arrive. I love you with all my heart Grandma Ruth Your Grandson, Michael
