Dear Lord, Phillipsthere with him with open arms. The man that stands before You was deeply loved. Although it seems like it is the end, Now the memories of him shall begin. He called me 'star' all of my life. The name my daddy always called me. I enjoyed his hugs, many times of conversation, and the prayers from his heart. He is now in Heaven with my daddy, having coffee and fishing. We miss him, but Heaven gained another faithful man of God. woot. Love, Karen Mahan
My Uncle Gene was one of the most faithful people I've ever known. He and Aunt Artis raised a wonderful family to do the same. He took good care of my Dad in his time of need. I can remember him and Aunt Artis singing in the Hansen Assembly. I remember when they had a truck farm outside of Twin. They didn't have a lot but they had enough to keep 6 kids fed and seemed to always be happy. He will always be in our thoughts as an Uncle that cared. Love you Uncle Gene.
