My dearest Vera, We will all miss Royal, right along with you. He was the sweetest and dearest man. You were so blessed to share his life with him for 67-1/2 years. As former neighbors to my parents, you both were the ideal neighbor. Royal spent many hours visiting with my dad. Even after my dad got cranky, Royal spent time with him. I know how dedicated he was to feeding the birds and squirrels every day. Even when he was sick he wanted to be sure they were fed. And there could never be anyone who was more devoted to his dogs. I'm sure he loves seeing all his animals up in heaven now. Yes, we will miss Royal, but we know he is now happy in heaven with Jesus. My sympathies go out to Lex, and the rest of family.
