Obituary of Dwaine Warren Gauger
Please share a memory of Dwaine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dwaine Warren Gauger served his country in the Navy 1960-66. Quietly, effectively he served his community. Lovingly he honored, adored and served his family and with his wonderful voice and passion he praised the God he loved to serve. Dwaine was born Dec. 12, 1941 in Billings, MT to Manley and Olga (Larson) Gauger. He moved to Twin Falls in 1970, produced quality work for 21 years with Standard Printing, promoted to General Manager in 1986 eventually starting his own shop, Magic Valley Printing, which earned the Small Business of the Year award from the TF Chamber of Commerce in 1999. Dwaine never delivered a printing order until it met his quality standards. He enjoyed serving and sharing his leadership talents with the Twin Falls Lions Club, serving as President in 1993-94. His passion for fellowship with close friends was shared in travels to many NCAA March Madness games and lots of golfing. His love for gospel music was enhanced with travels to Gaither Family music events and he unselfishly shared his spirit-filled voice with many. Helping Lisa move on in this life are his sister Darlene (Bernie) Sparrell of Boise, daughter Melony (Bill) Rattell, grandchildren Ralph, Mandi, Loney, and Clyde, son Kelly and grandson Gage, son Matthew and grandson Asher, son Jonathan (Blanca) and grandchildren Monica, Anthony, Cruz, Josiah and Uriah and “Little”Calvin Tillotson. Dwaine Gauger, a quiet giant, with his humble nature, his love for family, his encouragement to others and his beautiful ministry of music will be missed. A celebration of life will be held 7:00pm Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1231 Washington St N., Twin Falls. The family suggests that memorials be made in Dwaine’s name to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, World Missions, The Idaho Lions Eye Bank or Victory House of Twin Falls.
