I first met Noah through the Twin Falls Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue unit in the early 70’s when I was a deputy with the TF Sheriff’s Office. It was always such a relief when Noah and the usual “crew” (Noah and Kent, Jim Wood, Ron Cogswell, Jim Sharp and others) arrived at the staging area for a S&R mission looking for a missing snowmobiler, or lost hunter, drowning victim, or suicide jumper. I cannot begin to estimate how many hours/days Noah spent away from his family volunteering for the Search and Rescue to help someone in need. I recall one (I’m sure there were more) Christmas eve and Christmas which Noah spent on a snowmobile looking for a missing snowmobiler. Noah was a compassionate, gentle, and kind-hearted person who will be missed. Kent and Lorrie, and the rest of Noah’s family will be in my thoughts this week. Gary Kaufman
