Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I first met the big guy when he came to my Boy Scout troop meeting in the 60's in Castleford. He also gave me my first speeding ticket as a stupid teenager. Years later, as a deputy with the Twin Falls Sheriff's Office, I had a lot of interaction with him, backing him up on traffic stops, arrests and bookings. I always remembered him as tough, strict and one of the most ethical officers I knew. Everyone he arrested or had interaction with in his job ended up his friend. I'm sure for Sharon, Sue and Greg, it wasn't the easiest growing up in Buhl with a father who was a trooper, but he was truly an inspiration to a lot of people, and a superhero to me.
