Obituary of Robert Leonard Wilkinson

Robert Leonard Wilkinson "Blaise", age 59, of Twin Falls, ID passed away peacefully in his home on January 18, 2018. Robert was born in Tallahassee, FL on February 25, 1958 to Robert J. and Joyce F. Wilkinson. Robert met his loving wife Annette in Spokane, WA in early 1985. Following courtship, the couple married on January 4,1986 in Cheney, WA and started their family soon after. Robert had a diverse career which included time spent working in nursing homes, institutions for the developmentally disabled, satellite installation, and driving truck commercially. In 1997, the family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where Robert perused his passion of spelunking with friends and members of the Silver Sage Grotto. He combined his love of fishing and camping with his respect for mother nature, frequently taking his son or daughter on his excursions. Robert was predeceased by his father, Robert Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Annette M. Wilkinson, mother Joyce Wilkinson of Spokane, WA, son Byron (Nacole) Wilkinson of Ririe, ID, and daughter Jessica (Antonio) Chacon of Twin Falls, ID and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Daniel Wilkinson of Spokane, WA, Judy (Robert) Pressett of Carlsbad, NM, Richard (Zenida) Wilkinson of Carlsbad, NM, and William Wilkinson of Spokane, WA. A memorial service will be held at Rosenau Funeral home in Twin Falls, ID on February 8th, 2018 at 11:00 am.
