We are going to miss this lovely lady and the beautiful spirit she brought to our meeting. So thankful Edith and Mel moved to Twin Falls so we could be acquainted and enjoy her company these last few years.
Gone but never to be forgotten.

Edith was always a wonderful addition to our Union Meetings. We loved to see her and Mel and loved to see their daughter Marilyn! We will miss her very much.

We remember being in Edith's mom and dad's home when the Los Gatos convention grounds were on their home place in California. Over the years we have continued to be in touch with Mel and Edith - Bakersfield and now Twin Falls. We have always appreciated Edith's kind and gentle manner - she has always been an encouragement to us for which we are deeply grateful.

My most prescious memories of Mom are from these last few years. As Alzheimers was taking over her brain, the Lord had control of her spirit, and it just kept getting softer and sweeter. She was so easy to care for... always wanting to know how she could be a help. While confusion wracked her mind and her body grew frail, she just kept on illuminating Jesus. She was bearing fruit in her old age. I treasure being able to see that.
Mom & Dad were with us in Wisconsin for 5 weeks this past January and it was the sweetest gift. Coloring together at the table, cutting vegetables for supper, sitting side by side watching travel logs (England was her favorite)... these are my most recent memories, and when I want my mom, they're where I go.

Though I had four sisters, Edith was the one who was, and is, truly the one who meant the most to me. I will always cherish being, and hearing her call me, her "little brother". Thanks for all your love and care for me over the past 75 1/2 years.

When Edith accepted my marriage proposal, I felt like the luckyest man on the planet. That feeling never left and i still have it today. She was to me the perfect soulmate.
